L. Fenn in Hartford, Connecticut founded Fenn Technologies Company
in 1900. Further generations of the Fenn family operated the company
until 1968. Fenn Technologies operates under the Industrial Products Platform, Speciality Engineered Products of SPX Corporation,
Charlotte, N. C.
Located in Newington, C.T., Fenn Technologies operates
two businesses, Fenn Metal Forming Solutions and Fenn Aerospace. Fenn Metal Forming Solutions provides a complete line of metal forming equipment.
Fenn offers Tube Drawing Machines, Wire
Drawing Machines, Impact Cutoff, Take-Ups, Payoffs, Wire Flattening
and Shaping Mills, Rolling Mills, Turks Heads and Swaging Machines.
Fenn has just recently introduced its new design heavy duty Inverted
Bull Block for drawing heavy coils. Over
the years Fenn has worked very closely with many of its customers
to develop lines specifically suited to their requirements and to
achieve higher efficiencies and production.

Fenn engineers have accumulated a wealth of experience in the design
and building of special equipment for the metal working industry.
Fenn Aerospace has grown to meet its customers’ needs with a family of precision machining operations dedicated to production of the demanding aerospace industry.
Fenn has acquired GenMech, a leading producer of structural parts and precision assemblies for both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. Bill-Jay the newest member of the Fenn team, is a leader in the manufacturing of complex airframe parts, detailed components and subassemblies. It recently completed the new In-Board Pylon Bracket Assemblies for the Airbus A380.
Fenn Technologies companies are all AS9100 and ISO 9001:2000 registered and are global suppliers of flight safety critical components and assemblies to the military and commercial aerospace industries. Core competencies include the manufacturing and assembly of complete rotor heads, tail & main rotor components, pylon bracket assemblies, tip ribs, structural components, transmissions, gears, assemblies and overhaul and repair for the helicopter and fixed wing aerospace industry.
